Christmas tree

As we come to the end of the term we would like to share with your some upcoming events for the children.

Christmas Jumper Day.

We will be celebrating Christmas Jumper day on Friday 11th December.  If your child would like to join in then they are more than welcome to wear a Christmas Jumper and Playgroup will be donating to a children’s charity.

Christmas Cards

Under advisement the children will not be allowed to bring in Christmas cards to give to other children. We are sorry as we know that this is something the children enjoy doing.

Website

Please do visit our website our weekly themes and further information on all the fun and learning the children are doing at Playgroup.

Christmas Party – Friday 18th December

Due to the current situation we will not be holding our usual Christmas Party.  We will however make this day special for the children.  We will be providing extra treats for snack time, play Christmas music and have lots of fun.  The children will receive a small gift and will also bring home surprises for you.  If your child does not normally attend on a Friday they are welcome to join us for the morning session (9.30am – 12.30pm). However, if your child will NOT be attending you must let us know by Friday 11th December.

Something To Share

We’ve sent home a ‘Something to Share’.  Please either write a few notes , or your child can draw a picture or you can even stick a photograph of what you did over the Christmas holidays. This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to share with us and it will then go into their Learning Journal.

End of Term

Playgroup closes for the Christmas Holidays on Friday 18th December at 2.30pm and re-opens on Monday 4th January 2021 at 8.30am.  All the staff would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and stay safe.
