All children from the term after their third birthday will receive 15 hours funding during term time.
If you have a 3 or 4 year old who is not yet going to school they are entitled to up to 15 hours of free childcare and early education a week for up to 38 weeks a year. Children can access this universal entitlement in school nursery classes, private day nurseries, pre-school playgroups and with childminders.
All 3 & 4 year olds, regardless of the parents’ immigration status, are entitled to up to 15 hours free education each week for 38 weeks from the term after their third birthday.

Your child can receive up to 15 hours a week (subject to availability) over 38 weeks per year during term time i.e. 570 hours in total (15 hours x 38 weeks = 570 hours).
If your child is over 3 and eligible for 30 hours you can not claim more than 1,140 hours per year and a weekly maximum of 30 hours.

Playgroup can get Early Years Pupil Premium if you receive certain benefits.
